The discreet charm of a luxury kitchen
We present a new kitchen project, developed in a simple Nordic-Japanese style, based on subtle details and “hidden” technology.
We strived to reach a balance between the visual and tactile experience, using through an alternation of cold and warm materials – for example the “warm” essence of Rovere Grigio Pepe wood for column fronts and wall cladding, along with a “cold” brushed metal finish for island fronts and suspended unit fronts.
The Pietra Piasentina Taupe Fiammato ceramic countertop, with geometric profiling and sink integrated in the countertop, brings a solid element that is continued with the wood of the snack table to obtain a chromatic contrast of great effect.
The left columns include a glazed unit and LED lighting to interrupt the mono-bloc visual rhythm, and the columns on the right include an open shelf and a multifunctional sideboard hidden behind retractable doors – pocket doors.
Materials
- Column doors: Rovere Grigio Pepe
- Worktops: Pietra Piasentina ‘Taupe Fiammato’
- Island doors: Brushed metal, groove handle ‘Champagne’
- Glass columns with LED lighting and snack table: Burned wood
- Pocket doors: Rovere ‘Grigio Pepe’
